How it works
The reservation request form — employees submit flight reservation requests through a structured SharePoint form, capturing all the information required for the booking: traveler details, origin and destination, travel dates, preferred flight times, class of travel, and any other columns your internal process requires. Hotel accommodation can be requested alongside the flight within the same form, keeping the entire trip in a single record.
The internal reservation list — every submitted request is stored in a central SharePoint list that gives travel coordinators a complete view of all pending and confirmed reservations. Requests can be filtered and sorted by traveler, destination, travel date, or status — making it straightforward to manage multiple bookings simultaneously and prioritize by departure date.
Handoff to travel agents — once a request is reviewed internally, the structured data can be forwarded to your travel agent with all the necessary booking information already captured and organized. There is no need to chase the employee for missing details, reformat information from an email, or reconcile different versions of the same request.

Built on standard SharePoint lists
The Flight Reservation system is built entirely on standard SharePoint lists. There is no external data storage and no custom interface. All reservation data stays inside your SharePoint environment, governed by your existing permissions and data policies. The system can be extended or adapted at any time in the browser by the administrator who manages the site.
