• Enter the form.
• Create new column via your preferred method.
• Choose Infowise External data lookup.
• Select the database type: MS SQL, Oracle, OLE DB, ODBC, Web Service or REST. Remember that you must have all the necessary drivers installed on your web front-end servers. 
• Continue with instruction for the chosen connection type.

Security and Permissions

The field will always use the identity of the application pool account to access data sources. Make sure the account has access to the database or web service you are using. Alternatively, you can use credentials embedded into the connection string or anonymous access-enabled web service.
