Voting column is a specialized SharePoint column that provides voting capabilities for SharePoint lists and document users. Users will be able to vote in favor or against the item. They also will be able to write their opinion and add feedback.

  1. Add a new column from Form Designer
  2. Select Voting as column type
  3. In the column properties define the following settings:
    1. If you want users to be able to vote more than once mark the checkbox "Allow multiple voting for user".
    2. Allow or block downvotes.
    3. Optionally allow displaying voter names and their votes
    4. Optionally provide a list for leaving comments. It's recommended that the list contains a lookup column back to the current list.
    5. Optionally specify the Owner column. Users in the Owner column are not allowed to vote for their own items.
