The latest versions of Alerts, Import and Actions might introduce an error after installation.

When entering the Actions administration page, an error is presented: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Exchnage.WebServices'..

Unfortunately, this error had been caused by our latest efforts to upgrade, unite and reduce component sizes - some environments fail to process the change in which 3rd part DLLs were moved from one SharePoint solution to another, thus not deploying the said DLLs to your farm servers.

As it looks now, there is nothing we can do with the component installers to fix this error, but proposing the following course of actions to resolve the problem on your Farms:

  1. Restart SharePoint Timer and Administration services on all of your farm servers
  2. Uninstall the following components: Actions, Alerts and Import
  3. Go into the central administration > system settings > manage form solutions
    1. Locate the solution named: InfoiwseTrialHelper.wsp
    2. Retract it
    3. Delete it
  4. Repeat step 1.
  5. Install the components: Alerts, Import, Actions
  6. Repeat step 1.

We apologize for the inconvenience with this upgrade and as always strive to make the update experience as smooth as possible.

UPDATE 6-Dec-2024: We are forced to make a change to require Full Control at installation.
